Our Favorite White Paints
We’re noticing a shift in the trend of wall colors, and white seems to be the new, fresh look. Many are beginning to steer away from cold grays, and instead filling their homes with the warmth of white. But choosing the perfect white is not as simple as it seems. There are about a million and ten different white paint colors, and not all are created equal. Here are a few the go-to shades that our designers are loving lately.
Benjamin Moore Steam AF-15
This color is pretty on just about everything: walls, trim, and even cabinetry. Out of this list of our favorites, it feels the most organic and true. If you’re looking for something that’s not too stark and a bit more custom, Steam is a must.
Benjamin Moor Grey Mist 962
Grey Mist is a little more saturated than your typical out-of-the-can white. We love using it on the walls of a living space, or in a kitchen to contrast against super-white cabinets. It has hints of gray, while still feeling light and airy.
Benjamin Moore Calm OC-22
Calm feels exactly as it’s named. While white can often feel too blue or too yellow, this shade is a perfect balance cool and warm.
Sherwin Williams Toque White 7003 & Sherwin Williams Aesthetic White 7035
We’re currently using these two hues in a project – Toque White for the trim, and Aesthetic White for the cabinetry. Together, they give just the right amount of beautiful contrast, while still offering a cozy warmth.
