Show N’ Tell – Cottonwood Craftsman

We recently completed a beautiful home renovation for a client and after much anticipation we’re thrilled to finally show you the transformation! Looking at it now, it’s hard to believe that this home started out with dark interior walls, deep stained wood finishes, and heavy Victorian furnishings. The home is now bright and inviting, which is exactly what our client was looking for!

While there was quite a bit of demolition involved throughout the house, we were able to keep a lot of the home’s original mill work by simply giving it a face lift with a new coat of paint and adding new finishes. We hope you enjoy this before/after transformation of the Cottonwood Craftsman!

That table with the lucite chairs around it actually has a metal base with a solid white top. It’s by Oly Studio.

Can you please tell me the wood floor stain color as well as the grout color for the backsplash?

The floors were existing, so we don’t have specifics for them. However, the grout for the back splash was Mapei 01 Alabaster.

Isn’t it lovely! You can buy that table at our Trolley Square store located in Salt lake. However, we had the top custom made for this particular project to be a larger.

I liked the pulls as well but I just looked it up and if I found the right one it’s a whooping $153.00 per pull. Way out of my range. I do like the jar canisters on the counter though, where did you find those?

Good hardware can be expensive, but well worth it when it’s such a statement. The jars were actually our clients that we repurposed for this space. Source unknown.

We actually re-purposed the customer’s existing faucet because it was fairly new, in good shape, and transitioned well into the new space.

The wall color is Pashmina by Benjamin Moore. The backsplash is called Cliffs by Daltile, in a marble finish.

I love the gray paint color used on the kitchen cabinets! Is it Benjamin Moore?

The Gray Cabinets are Dolphin by Sherwin Williams. The white cabinets were planted a custom mix made to match the existing white trims throughout the home.

Wonderful designs!!
Can you please tell me where the round pedestal table with the lattice chairs is from?

We had that table custom made by a local carpenter. However, there is a smaller similar version that can we can order in from one of our vendors.

I love everything here, such great work! Do you mind sharing the white paint color you selected for the kitchen cabinets?

The white was custom mix we had made to match the existing white trim/millwork around the casing.
