Show N' Tell – French Moderne Manor: Part III

Today we’re showcasing another space in our French Moderne Manor project. It’s easy to get carried away designing the most visible spaces of your home and neglecting to put thought and effort into those little spaces that you actually use on a daily basis…like the laundry room. Let’s face it, no one really enjoys doing the laundry. But when your laundry room is as beautiful as this, the chore just doesn’t seem so menial. The main laundry room in the French Moderne Manor might even get you a little bit excited about it!

The classic black and white check floors are a stunning contrast against the white cabinets. Standing as the focal piece, the soapstone workbench was custom made for the space, requiring both a metal fabricator, carpenter, and stone mason to get the job done!

Our client was head over heels in love with this Rifle Paper Co. wallpaper, so we found it the perfect home in this petite powder room right off the laundry room. Isn’t it just so happy!? It’s the perfect pop of color and cheer in an otherwise neutral space.

The mudroom is all about function. You need a space where you can stash all of your shoes, coats, and bags and keep them out of site. This mudroom can do all of that, and then some. But most importantly, it’s welcoming. After all, your mudroom is essentially your own personal front door. We love how inviting this space turned out!

I visited this home on the parade of homes this summer and it was fabulous! I have been thinking about that giant round mirror ever since. Would you mind sharing the source for that?
Thank you!

If you’re referring to the round mirror behind the bench, it’s from our store. It’s the Flunn mirror by Noir.

There are several round mirrors throughout the home. The other round mirror featured in this post in the hanging mirror in the powder bath. That is also available for purchase through out store.

Is there any way you could share the exact details of the Fireclay Console by Kohler that you used? I have looked it up online but there are so many variations. I love the color of the stand and sink and also love the size you used.

Our apologies, we shared the wrong information. The console is actually the Inigo Console Table Legs w/ Towel Bar & the top is the Inigo White Carrara top by Kallista.
