Summer Entertaining – Giveaway CLOSED

I’ve had this little quote pinned to my bulletin board for about 10 years now. Its taken on deeper meaning the longer I look at it. I have learned that saying yes is a compliment, an acceptance of a person, and their ideas. I try to say yes, to whatever I’m offered these days… it really doesn’t matter if I like it or not. I can like it in that moment because I want people to feel my love and acceptance for them and what they’ve made.

We’re in the thick of summer entertaining months. Its milkshake season. Say yes!

I’m giving away my favorite serving bowl for summer! Everything is guaranteed to taste better when served in this oversized navy check serving bowl. People will want to give your recipe a try just because it showed up at the party in the cute bowl! (Retails at $100)

I follow!! My favorite part of summer is the slower pace. I love that is gives me some time to wind down, hang out with my family, and gear up for fall and winter.

A couple weeks back I threw a homemade ice cream party. It was a huge hit! Now I’m thinking I want to throw a popsicle party too.

One of my favorite summer gatherings is an outdoor movie night complete with popcorn, movie candy, and samores!

I follow your blog! That bowl is amazing. I’m a sucker for cute bowls and serving pieces! Hope I win.

My favorite summer party is the feast that happens on the Fourth of July. Family, amazing food, and fireworks. Could you have a more winning combination?

The best summer gatherings–in my opinion–are those that happen in the canyon with foil dinners and s’mores. The smell of campfire almost always means a good time!

My favorite type of summer party is a garden party…which is not complete without fresh berries and corn hole to play with family and friends :)

I am a faithful follower of your blog. My favorite summer party is the family crawfish boil my mother-in-law throws each year. Friends & family come from all over to get together, enjoy the relaxed pace of summer, catch up, and eat great food. The party starts early in the day, and continues as long as attendees would like it to. There is always an abundance of food, a washers tournament, and lots of love. The gingham serving bowl would be perfect for me to bring my warm potato salad in!

I love any summer party where someone else does all the cooking. And I just show up with a blue-checked bowl full of delicious summer fruit.

My favorite summer parties are the ones we had back in Indiana under our canopy of trees. They would be spur of the moment with simple cooking of pudgie pies-pizza, ham + cheese, blueberry pies and s’mores over the fire pit. Bowls of fresh fruit and salads from the garden and an ice cold bottle of beer. [rain or shine]

My daughter’s Birthday is in July so I get to throw the most fun and elaborate parties each summer full of pink and bright colors! Even my husband agrees this is the best party of the year for us!

Beautiful! That bowl is amazing! I would keep it on my counter all year long for fruit

My house is too small to host all of my friends so we get together at someone else’s. I always bring my infamous strawberry salad and this bowl would be perfect!

I have been a faithful follower for several years now. Everything is beautiful. I would love to win this bowl to take to our annual Pioneer Day family reunion.

My favorite party is my friends 24th of July party. We go to the Days of ’47 parade and hang out at Liberty Park until evening to watch the fireworks. This bowl would be perfect for our watermelon salad!

My favorite summer party is enjoying a seasonal cocktail on the patio with my closest friends and family, while snacking on our favorite appetizers.

My favorite summer party is a tea party that we’ve put on every summer for years now on behalf of the young women in our church. We get all dressed up in our fashionable frocks (large hats encouraged) and listen to the sweet siren melodies of Lady Ella and the like. We have beautiful twinkle lights, crystal glasses, flowery linens, and all the brilliant details to help them feel like the gorgeous queens that they are. It is a completely lovely experience.

I follow your blog!
I love a last minute summer party. The kind that happens (often on a Saturday) when you realize, hey! we should invite someone over! Everything tastes great when it’s summer (produce!) and you’re eating with friends :)

My favorite summer party is ANY KIND OF PARTY! My husband and I (mostly I) love to host so we come up with all kinds of ideas and excuses to have gatherings. I can already imagine using this bowl at my next gathering.

Fingers crossed i win!!

I follow! My favorite summer party is at home spending time w/family and eating watermelon salad. Oh yes! And this bowl, perfect for it! Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite summer party is our annual neighborhood back to school picnic. It has been the most anticipated party of the summer for my kids since they started kindergarten. We gather to enjoy each other’s company and relish in the goodness of the ending summer. Pony rides, a grease pole, fried chicken and corn on the cob…..everything perfect about summer and one last reason to stay up late before the school schedule sets in.
Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite summer party is a BBQ with vegetables fresh from the garden, a canopy of bistro lights to create the ambience, music, cocktails, and of course, good friends! Thanks for the giveaway!

I’m a subscriber! My favorite summer gatherings are informal with casual dining al fresco at dusk with good friends and lots of laughter.

I love a good backyard garden party — but mojitos are a must! Light, colorful linens, flowers, and a touch of class :)

I’m a subscriber! Outdoor dinner parties under twinkle lights are my favorite. Nothing beats a night under the lights.
Gorgeous bowl! We’re building a home right now and I can’t wait until it’s finished so I can come in and find some great pieces.

It’s hard to pick just one favorite summer party, honestly I love them all! But I have to say that pic-nics in the park when there is free live music is among one of my favorite things to do. And, it’s totally easy to plan too.
