Focal Points and Styling Tips

Styling is the final touch, showing the soul of the house and your personality. Curating the final pieces can be a difficult process. Although it is incredibly personalized, here are a few styling tips and recommendations for restyling and creating focal points. 

Tip 1: We recommend removing everything from the space. Start completely fresh with a clean surface. Survey the pieces you’ve removed and see what naturally looks good together, what doesn’t fit, and what you are missing. Once that is complete, you are ready to style.

Tip 2: Lamps are an ideal focal point, easily adding visual height and elegance to any space. When styling on a nightstand, place it closer to the bed for easy access to the light switch. For an end table, style toward the middle to leave room for guests to set down drinks and electronics. Tip 3: Books are versatile and we love styling them throughout the house. They are the perfect addition to shelves, consoles, and built-ins. In built-ins, we love to stack horizontally adding weight, balance, and length. Pair with the Crystal Bookends for that translucent, beautifully contrasting design.

Tip 4: Artwork can easily become the focal point. Showcase any piece with a stand, further catching the eye and adding sophistication.
