This month has been a really exciting time for Alice Lane. We’ve released a new product each week and still have more to come! It has always been our dream to create our own pieces and seeing it become a reality is truly amazing. Each of our new releases holds a special place and were custom designed by Jessica Bennett.

Our first new addition is our luxurious Theodore Sideboard. Jess wanted to create a large piece that provided ample hidden storage while also looking high-end. One of our favorite features is that it is crafted from rift-sawn white oak, creating organic wood graining and patterns. To further elevate its look, we added a beveled waterfall frame, which beautifully reflects the light adding additional dimension. Next, its asymmetrical rhythm of drawers and shelves provides visual texture. The Theodore is perfect throughout the house, styling well into living rooms, hallways, dining rooms, or media rooms.

Next came the incredibly eye-catching Phoenix Mirrors. Usually in a home, wall art is square, rounded, or oval, and generally a clear mirror or artwork. Jess decided she wanted to elevate wall decor and created these unframed antique rust mirrors. They provide a stunning contrast to gallery walls and framed mirrors with their organic shape. We especially like that they can be styled together as a pair or alone as a focal point. They can be hung any direction, which lends an added touch of individuality.

We originally released the brown Chess Rug and were excited to see how many of our clients loved the rug and requested it in different colors. Jess decided this would be the perfect rug to customize, as its irregular pattern could be created in any two colors and we could customize the size for each client. Each rug is one-of-a-kind, hand-knotted from the highest quality New Zealand wool and is completely customizable. Then came two brand new Candle Snuffers. Jess found and fell in love with antique designs and wanted to create snuffers based on them. She wanted both nickel and brass finishes offered, so that everyone could have a luxurious touch in their space. We love how a snuffer pairs with a candle and candle dish to truly elevate the look, creating a sophisticated, timeless design. They are the perfect accessory, easily styling throughout the house or getting multiples for every room.
