Lamp is very pricey so expectations were high. No matter what watt bulb I use, it looks ultra bright white and almost flourescent. I am down to a 10 watt equivalent LED bulb. I ended up putting white duct tape all around the bulb since it's LED and cool in order to make it bearable. For $200+ it could include a bulb that is of warm light, All the reviews show it dim and warm and I wonder if the reviews are genuine. Picture is with duct tape over bulb.
This lamp is much heavier than you’d think. It’s beautiful and is another great product by Alice Lane. I have two penny lamps. This one and the brass one and love them both.
This is my second of this same little lamp. It's elegant and heavy. Fits just about anywhere, but the sun should not shine through it because that could cause fire (like s magnifying glass).
I absolutely love walking into the bathroom. I leave my penny lamp on all day long and just love the way it looks. It makes me so happy. I’m actually here to buy another one.
