I LOVE this easel more than I thought I would. You can use a horizontal painting or put it vertical and either way looks good. Beautiful look!
I was looking for an easel to display a platter in the hutch of my dining room buffet. I wanted a more elevated look than the flimsy ones in Target or craft stores. While more than I would normally spend, this easel exceeded my expectations. It is substantial and adds a decorative element with the brass circles that is really gorgeous. For those wondering, the depth on the small size is around four inches, so it handle a platter with a curved edge or a thickly framed piece of art, large book, etc.
