Entry Styling

Entry Styling

The entry is one of the first impressions guests have upon entering your home. No matter what size or how much space you have, there is room to create a beautiful, intentional entry. Let’s talk about our favorite pieces to add when styling an entryway.

If you have an elongated entry, we like to style a console table like the York. Its oversized yet minimal design provides ample styling space while not taking up the entire walkway. If your entry is larger or square, a rounded entry table is a must-have. Our James Table features a beautiful walnut wood with subtle texture, lending an organic, elegant design. If you are looking for another option, our Lucca Side Table always makes a statement with its hand-carved base and white plaster finish.

One of our favorite entry styling tricks is to put like with like, creating a collected look. For example, styling several temple jars like the Painted Dragon, Serpentine, Crane, and Sun Grotto together for a visually dimensional and striking design. With those jars, adding either fresh or faux branches is an easy addition. Our Magnolia Branch or Camellia Leaf Branch lend a lifelike look. Styling one or two branches or stems look understyled, pair multiples together for an oversized, designer look.

To complement and balance the large jars and florals, stack two books with similar spines together for a grounding effect. Two of our favorites are Tom Ford 2.0 and Joseph Dirand. Either on top of the books or next to, we love styling a dish with a favorite candy for an extra welcoming touch. Our Yin Yang Dishes are a translucent addition, providing a touch of visual texture. The Oslo Dish is entirely crafted from black marble, showcasing organic veining and patterning.

Your entry might not have space for a console or table, and if so, styling a large statement rug is our favorite go-to. Our Chess Rug boasts an asymmetrical natural and brown pattern, lending visual texture. Or, the Midnight Tassel Rug is a beautiful addition, with its deep navy color and geometric design.

Regardless of the size, we love to style and create tasteful, meaningful entryways. If you would like more help in designing your entryway, you can set up an appointment with our complimentary designers here. To watch Jess style an entry, visit here.
